Located in India, Solo 4 Culinary Arts & Celestia Banquets is a premium hospitality venue that combines contemporary design with a vibrant social atmosphere. To match this vision, a high-performance restaurant sound system was required - one capable of delivering consistent, clear audio across a challenging acoustic space.

In collaboration with REEMOOZ FEC Pvt. Ltd. and integration partner Raghav Technology, Yamaha delivered a tailored Pro Audio solution for hospitality environments, ensuring seamless sound integration throughout the venue. Rajkot-based Raghav Technology, known for its expertise in high-end AV and commercial installations, led the system implementation. The company’s Acoustic & Sound Engineer, Mr. Param Vachhani, was assigned to design and install the audio experience for the venue, with a clear focus on comfort, balance, and exclusivity.

The Challenge – Designing Audio for Modern Restaurant Environments

Modern restaurant spaces often present complex acoustic challenges, and Solo 4 was no exception.

Reflective materials such as glass, polished surfaces, and designer interiors created excessive reverberation, impacting speech intelligibility and sound clarity. At the same time, the layout- featuring multiple seating zones and open areas - required uniform sound coverage without noticeable variations.

Another key challenge was maintaining the ideal balance between background music and conversation. In hospitality environments, audio must enhance the guest experience without becoming intrusive.

Additionally, the system needed to integrate seamlessly into the interior design, ensuring that audio technology remains visually discreet.

The Solution – Yamaha Pro Audio for Hospitality

To address these challenges, Yamaha implemented a distributed audio system design, focusing on clarity, coverage, and control.

A network of Yamaha VXH6 pendant speakers was suspended strategically across the venue. This approach reduces the distance between sound source and listener, improving direct sound delivery while minimizing reflections. The result is clear, evenly distributed audio throughout the restaurant.

For enhanced low-frequency performance, a Yamaha VXS10S subwoofer was integrated, delivering controlled bass that adds depth without overpowering the environment- ideal for background music in restaurant settings.

The system was powered by a Yamaha PX Series amplifier, ensuring stable performance, efficient power management, and ease of operation. Custom tuning and equalization were applied to optimize sound quality, reducing reverberation and delivering a balanced acoustic profile.

Importantly, all components were selected and positioned to blend seamlessly with the venue’s design, preserving its premium aesthetic.
