Cuore by Masala Diaries is a premium hospitality destination in Rajkot, bringing together refined dining and large-format event experiences within a single, thoughtfully designed space. Developed by the Masala Diaries Group, the venue features a high-ceiling restaurant and a versatile banquet area, catering to both everyday dining and high-energy social occasions.

Defined by modern architecture and large vertical volumes, the space creates a distinctive ambience while presenting notable acoustic challenges. Achieving a consistent and comfortable sound environment across such varied zones required a carefully engineered approach.

In collaboration with Masala Diaries and system integrator Raghav Technology, Yamaha delivered a tailored Pro Audio solution- balancing subtle ambient sound in dining areas with high-impact performance for event-driven spaces.

The Challenge

Designing an audio system for Cuore required addressing two fundamentally different environments within a single venue.

Restaurant Area – Acoustic Complexity

The restaurant featured a ceiling height of approximately 35 feet, combined with reflective materials such as glass, polished flooring, and designer ceilings.

This created:

• Significant reverberation and echo build-up
• Loss of clarity and speech intelligibility
• Uneven sound distribution with hotspots and dead zones

Traditional ceiling-mounted solutions were ineffective due to:

• Excessive sound dispersion before reaching listeners
• Increased reliance on reflected sound

Banquet Area – Performance & Flexibility

The banquet space required a system capable of supporting:
