To match this high-energy setting, the facility required a powerful and scalable Pro Audio solution capable of delivering consistent, high-SPL sound across a large, semi-open space. The result is a versatile environment that seamlessly transforms into a sports bar, event venue, and nightlife destination - where sound plays a central role in shaping the overall experience.
Working in collaboration with Formula RC Racing, SI Partner Theatres4u, led by Mr. Abhay Patel, and Yamaha, a high-performance audio solution was designed and deployed to meet the demands of this unique entertainment destination. The integrated system ensures exceptional impact, clarity, and control across the entire venue, delivering an immersive audio experience for racing enthusiasts, event audiences, and nightlife patrons alike.
The Challenge – High SPL Audio in an Open Environment
Designing audio for Formula RC presented a unique technical challenge.
Unlike conventional indoor venues, the space was:
- Semi-covered with no enclosing walls
- Acoustically open, leading to sound loss and uneven dispersion
- Required to function as both a sports arena and nightlife venue
The system needed to deliver:
- High sound pressure levels (SPL) for energetic environments
- Uniform audio distribution with no dead zones
- Minimal distortion even at high output
- Wireless, multi-user control for operational ease
Maintaining consistency in such an open structure - while avoiding dropouts and reflections was critical to success.
