Yamaha LAN Monitor V1.4.1 for Windows released, followed by macOS support in Spring.

February 11, 2020. Shizuoka, Japan. – Yamaha Corporation announces an important new addition to its lineup of professional audio software: Yamaha LAN Monitor V1.4.1 for Windows and Mac.

Effective Dante network management hinges on a range of parameters such as network traffic, switch status, and information from individual Dante devices. The Yamaha LAN Monitor application provides a comprehensive single-screen view of all necessary parameters when used with Yamaha SWP/SWR series switches. We refer to this type of graphical overview as “network visibility.” You can even take a snapshot of the normal status of your network and set an alarm to warn you if any of the parameters changes, so that problems can be identified and resolved quickly and easily.

The Version 1.4.1 adds more devices which can be managed as L2MS slaves, expanding the monitoring function to larger sized venues such as convention centers with multiple meetings rooms or shopping centers. Furthermore, this version will support macOS this spring, which has been a long-waited request from our customers.

Now that it can be used on both Windows and Mac, many engineers and applications will benefit from the reliability and stability of the Dante network system, supported by the "network visibility" from Yamaha LAN Monitor.
