New Yamaha PoE Ceiling Speakers Certified For Zoom Rooms

ADECIA Ceiling Solutions One-stop sound solution for teleconferencing

Yamaha Corporation is pleased to announce that its ADECIA Ceiling Solution with the new VXC2P Dante/PoE ceiling speaker is now certified for use with Zoom Rooms.

The ADECIA Ceiling Solution is a one-stop videoconferencing system for medium-sized conference spaces, providing everything from audio input to output. The first Zoom-certified system was launched in 2022.

The latest certification includes the new VXC2P Dante/PoE ceiling speaker. It joins the already-certified RM-CG ceiling array microphone, RM-CR remote conference processor, VXL Series 'P Model' Dante/PoE-compatible line array speakers and SWR2311P-10G L2 switch to deliver even more versatile ADECIA Ceiling Solution systems.

The VXC2P's Power over Ethernet (PoE) support allows installers to overcome speaker placement constraints, increasing flexibility and simplifying system design. In addition, its internal DSP goes beyond the acoustic tuning and audio quality of the RM-CR processor to provide highly localized tuning capabilities, allowing for more efficient configuration and optimization.

Various signal processing functions - including equalizers, duckers and delays - can also be individually configured for each speaker, providing comfortable, high quality audio throughout a Zoom Room. Even with a small number of VXC2P speakers, an ADECIA system can seamlessly cover a wide area, thanks to its 160º coverage pattern.

"In today's dynamic conference environments, audio solutions must be flexible, easy to operate, and consistently deliver exceptional sound quality. Seamless integration with leading platforms like Zoom is essential. With the addition of the VXC2P, ADECIA Solutions gain even greater versatility—ensuring the best possible Zoom Rooms experiences," says Thomas Hemery, senior general manager of Yamaha Professional Solutions Division.
