Yamaha Brings Exceptional Sound Quality to Fabbrica Originale
Fabbrica Originale, a renowned Italian restaurant in Kolkata, has enhanced the dining experience at its Park Street outlet with the installation of a Yamaha sound system. This integration celebrates the essence of Italy, providing a unique culinary journey.
Fabbrica Originale's Yamaha Sound System: Where Sound Meets Style
The 3,000-square-foot restaurant, with a capacity for over 100 guests, boasts an elegant ambiance designed to provide comfort and style. However, the complex acoustics posed a significant challenge. The high ceilings, sharp angular corners, and multiple floors within the space can alter sound waves, resulting in echo, distortion, and uneven sound distribution.
To address this challenge, Yamaha's VXS8 speakers were chosen for their exceptional sound quality, reliability, and aesthetically pleasing design. The speakers' elegant white finish seamlessly integrates into the existing interior design. A strategically placed DXS15XLF 15-inch subwoofer ensures rich, consistent low-frequency coverage across the entire area.
Dining Experience, Elevated by Sound
Precise acoustic adjustments were made to fine-tune the high and mid-frequencies, maintaining a compact yet balanced sound. The VXS8 speakers offer exceptional sound dispersion, delivering clear and consistent audio throughout the restaurant.
The Yamaha PX5 amplifier, paired with a custom LSI, enables the speakers to perform at their full potential. Four VXS8 speakers were installed to maximize coverage and ensure fine-tuned calibration. For the first floor, the VXS5 and DXS12MK2 setups were recommended to create a relaxing atmosphere.

To balance the sound across both floors and ensure consistent audio performance, Yamaha 6-channel mixers were installed on each level. This facilitates live performances and maintains audio integrity on both floors.
