CSI Home Church Revamps Audio System with Yamaha and NEXO

CSI Home Church, one of Asia's oldest and largest churches, Nagercoil has recently undergone a significant upgrade to its audio system. Built in 1819 under the supervision of Rev. William Tobias Ringeltaube, the church has a rich history and has been a cornerstone of the community for nearly two centuries.

The church's leadership recognized the need to enhance the audio experience for its congregation, addressing long-standing acoustic echo issues. The high tin roof, which wasn't acoustically treated, caused significant echo problems. To resolve this, the church installed acoustic absorption materials and implemented a new audio system.

Yamaha and NEXO in Perfect Harmony at CSI Home Church

After careful consideration, the church chose Yamaha and NEXO's audio solutions for their remarkable clarity, consistency, and ability to meet the client's requirements. The main system consists of four ID24 speakers as the front-of-house (FOH) system, eight ID24 delays and outfills, and two ID24 speakers driven by NXAMP4X2MK2. Additionally, four IDS210 subwoofers are driven by NXAMP4X2MK2.

For monitoring purposes, six ID24 speakers are strategically placed at the choir, pulpit, and altar areas, driven by NXAMP4X1MK2. The TF1 digital mixer, paired with the TIO1608D-2 stage rack, was selected for its ability to deliver precise audio balance, essential for the house of worship's acoustic needs.

The upgrade has significantly improved the overall audio experience, providing clarity and consistency throughout the church. The acoustic echo issues have been successfully addressed, creating a more immersive and engaging environment for worshipers.
