A spectacular classical concert heralded the New Year in the city of Montbéliard, eastern France, where an audience of 6400 at the Axone theatre enjoyed the Victor Hugo Franche-Comté Philharmonic Orchestra playing music from Holst’s The Planets, John Williams’ music to the Star Wars film franchise and pieces by William Russo which linked the orchestra with a blues band. A Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 digital mixing system and Nexo PA ensured that both the theatre and a live radio audience enjoyed a stellar sound.

J Sound Services Scores Hole in One at Topgolf®

Global sports entertainment leader Topgolf® recently opened the doors to its new location in Nashville, and in charge of the start-of-the-art sound, video and lighting system in its first 600-seat concert hall, J Sound Services (Nashville) was assigned the task of design and installation. The system includes a NEXO GEO S12 line array, Yamaha CL5 and two Rio3224-D input/output stage boxes. The NEXO speaker system was designed using NEXO NS-1 System Configuration and Modeling Software.

Touring regularly year-round, he recently purchased dual Yamaha CL5 Digital Audio Consoles and two Rio3224-D I/O boxes through Pro Acoustics of Salado, Texas for front of house and monitor use. Alan Wentz serves as both front of house engineer and production manager for Walker. Chris Carter is Walker’s monitor engineer.
